A fun brief of my days in New York City!

Yanks! Yael!

Yesterday the group headed to a Yankees game! It was an absolutely beautiful day, a little hot, but I know that 90 isn't that bad so I enjoyed myself. The first shot is from our seats in the stadium, we were in the cheap seats (bleachers!), but still had a great view of the stadium. Perhaps you already know this, but perhaps not; this is the final season for the Yankees in this stadium. Not gonna lie, it could use an update.

Notice the tiiiiiny plane in the left hand corner. There were planes going overhead constantly. I actually didn't even notice it till I posted the picture.

Below is a pic of myself, Ashley, and Becky on our way out. This was of course after we enjoyed some baseball style nachos, frozen lemonade, and a hearty shout of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Lots of fun for sure!

Aside: Ashley is the fabulous young lady that I also intern with at Kirshenbaum + Bond. We go waaaaaaaaaay back :)

As we were about to hop on the 4 we turned around and noticed that the new Yankee's Stadium was right behind us! Clearly it's not yet completed, but it sure is pretty! Unfortunately this was the best shot I was able to snap from the subway.

Yay for Baseball!

The rest of the day consisted of a well-earned nap, gym, dinner at Mumbles (the name still makes me laugh a bit), and a nice relaxing movie in Chelsea. It was a good day.

Then Sunday came along...very relaxing Sunday. Ashley and I took a fantastic discovery walk. We have found these are very good for exercise and helping us find/remember things around the city. Then a good ole work out, some reading, then dinner at Barbournia (Turkish/Mediterranean deliciousness), and a free Yael Naim concert at Central Park. Lovely.
Angela, Stacy, and I at Yael Naim.
